WHY ARE YOUR PRICES SO MUCH LOWER THAN OTHER STORES?

We import directly and run an online-only business which allows us keep our costs low and pass the savings on to our customers.


HOW DO YOU HAVE BOTTLES IN STOCK THAT I CAN'T FIND ANYWHERE ELSE?

We specialise in artisan tequila and mezcal, therefore we devote our time and energy to providing our customers with rare and discontinued bottles.

If you are interested in a specific bottle or product range we don't currently have in stock, please contact usinfo@topshelftequila.com.au and we will do our best to find what you are after and provide an obligation-free quote.


THE BOTTLE I WANT IS "SOLD OUT"... CAN I PLACE A PRE-ORDER?

Yes. If a bottle is visible in our store but labelled "SOLD OUT", it means new stock is on the way!  If you wish to place a pre-order and avoid missing out, please contact usinfo@topshelftequila.com.au and we will facilitate this for you.


CAN I PREVIEW MY ORDER BEFORE I PURCHASE?

Yes you can. You can visit the Shopping Cart any stage during your browsing of our website. In the shopping cart you will find all the products that you have added. From there you can simply and easily proceed to the checkout or edit your order and continue.


IS THERE A MINIMUM PURCHASE QUANTITY?

There is no minimum purchase. You are free to purchase a single bottle. If you are a business customer or wish to make a larger order, please contact usinfo@topshelftequila.com.au and we will provide you with a quote and can provide invoices with 14 day payment terms.


DON'T HAVE PAYPAL, CAN I STILL SHOP ON YOUR SITE?

You certainly can!  At checkout there is an option to pay via credit card.  If you prefer to pay via Bank Transfer (EFT) please contact usinfo@topshelftequila.com.au and we will provide you with our account details.


I'VE ADDED ITEMS TO MY SHOPPING CART BUT CAN'T SEE WHAT I'VE PUT IN IT OR CAN'T CHECKOUT

I WANT TO RETURN THE TEQUILA OR MEZCAL THAT I ORDERED

We have a 30 day “change of mind” return policy. If you are not satisified with your order contact usinfo@topshelftequila.com.au as soon as possible to organise a return. There are a few important points to note about a “change of mind” return:

  • Please make sure both the box (where applicable) and bottle are in the same condition as when you recieved them.
  • Shipping glass bottles is a delicate excercise. Please take extra precaution when packing the returned bottles to ensure they arrive safely.The sender assumes the risk of breakages during transit.
  • Return freight is at your own cost.
  • Refunds are issued once the return is recieved and inspected.
  • For a “change of mind” return, the refunded amount will be the bottle costs less the initial shipping cost.
  • Refunds can take up to 14 days, although usually they are paid quicker.

Unless otherwise stated, we usually ship all orders the morning after they are placed. If you have a special requirement concerning shipping, please get in touchinfo@topshelftequila.com.au to discuss suitable options.

We have included a number of shipping options for your convienence. The majority of our "Courier" deliveries are performed by CouriersPlease using the 'sendle.com' platform.

Delivery within Australia:

For orders under a total of $200:

  • COURIER (BEST VALUE) - $15
  • AUSTRALIA POST REGULAR* - $25
  • AUSTRALIA POST EXPRESS (Next Business Day)* - $35

For orders over a total of $200

  • COURIER (BEST VALUE) - FREE
  • AUSTRALIA POST REGULAR* - $10
  • AUSTRALIA POST EXPRESS (Next Business Day)* - $20

We take shipping bottles seriously and use plenty of appropriate packaging.

International Shipping:

We now ship worldwide (subject to each country's laws regarding the import of alcoholic beverages).

  • Worldwide shipping - $85 + $15 per bottle

What if I'm not home to receive my order?

If you are not home when the courier attempts to deliver your parcel/s the courier will leave a calling card to notify you.

Upon confirmation your order has been sent, you will receive a link for the tracking of your delivery.

Can I send someone a bottle as a gift?

Yes! A premium tequila or mezcal is the perfect way to surprise someone special. Please contact usinfo@topshelftequila.com.au prior to placing your order to make sure we can accommodate your individual circumstances.

Can I pick up from your store?

In order to keep our prices as low as possible, we are an online only store.

We do not offer pickup, however orders over $300 include free Australia wide delivery.

I think I should have received my order by now.

Please contact usinfo@topshelftequila.com.au and we will check the status of your order with our delivery partner.

The most common issue is that you weren't home at the time of delivery and have not located the card left.

I have received the wrong product.

Firstly, we apologise for the inconvenience. We will do everything we can to resolve the problem with a minimum of fuss. Please contact usinfo@topshelftequila.com.au asap.

The bottle I have received is damaged.

We take every precausion to ensure your order arrives safely. If a package is damaged - DO NOT accept the delivery, and we will send a new bottle.

If you do happen to receive a damaged bottle, please contact usinfo@topshelftequila.com.au and we will take every step to resolve the problem.
